Additional information

Note: "Product" will refer to both books and software.

If anyone wants to review a product they MUST contact the Program Coordinator who will attempt to obtain the product. Under extraneous circumstances a member may be offered a product (for example: because of his or her connection to the company) in which case they MUST contact the Program Coordinator, after accepting it, with intent to do a review of same.

After any review is completed, the reviewer will get to keep the product.

In the case of software, if the program does not work with your computer, it must be returned to the Program Coordinator to be re-assigned to another reviewer.

Reviewers may accept more than one product to review ONLY if no other reviewer is available.

Reviews are due 90 days from receipt of the product and before the following newsletter publication deadline. Failing to meet these deadlines TWICE - not due to problems with the product - is grounds for removal, of the member's name, from the review committee

Once the article is written, the reviewer will email the article to the Program Coordinator, who will then send it to the Editor of the Club's newsletter for publication and to the Webmaster who will put the review on SCUG's web site. After it is published the Program Coordinator will send the supplier of the product an electronic copy of the newsletter and a link to the web site posting.
